MSDW

MSDW Wall-Mounted Ferromagnetic Detector

The CEIA MSDW is a wall-mounted ferromagnetic detector designed to enhance MRI facility safety by preventing hazardous objects from entering critical zones. Using advanced electromagnetic technology ensures the protection of both patients and MRI systems against dangerous ferromagnetic items that can create a projectile risk.

  • Preventive Safety — Detects ferromagnetic and magnetized objects before they reach the MRI room.
  • 360° Localization — Multi-zone optical and acoustic alarms provide clear, directional feedback.
  • Rugged Construction — Built with stainless steel and high-impact reinforced plastics for long-term durability.
  • Flexible Installation — Operates seamlessly in MRI zones I, II, or III.
  • Event Logging — Stores up to 70,000 events with full traceability of alarms, parameter changes, and diagnostics.
  • Smart Integration — Parameters can be configured and event data downloaded via smartphone or portable PC.
  • Versatile Power Options — Powered by PoE Ethernet or an external AC/DC adapter.

With its reliable performance and robust design, the MSDW provides continuous protection for MRI environments, supporting both patient safety and system integrity.

PD240CH-Z4 Hand-Held Ferromagnetic Detection System

The CEIA PD240CH-Z4 is a dual-sensing, hand-held screening device engineered for patient safety before MRI examinations. Built entirely from non-magnetic materials, it is safe for continuous use inside MRI Zone 4 without risk of attraction or interference from the scanner’s magnetic fields.

  • Dual Sensing Technology — Independently detect ferrous or all metallic items with selectable modes.
  • Non-Magnetic Construction — Fully MRI-room safe, eliminating projectile risks.
  • Precision Screening — Distinguishes between ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic metals to provide clear, reliable detection and improve patient safety before MRI scans.
  • Patient Safety First — Helps prevent burns and injuries from hidden metal objects during MRI scans.
  • High-Precision Pinpointing — Dual-tone audio and dual-color visual indicators accurately locate objects.
  • Large Search Area — Enables fast and reliable whole-body or localized screening.
  • Three Modes of Operation — Ferrous detection only, head/full-body ferrous detection, or full-body all-metal detection.
  • Audio & Visual Alerts — Adjustable alert intensity for precise feedback.

Designed for ease of use, the PD240CH-Z4 combines portability, precision, and reliability to ensure safer MRI environments and smoother patient workflows.

PD240CH Hand-Held MRI Patient Screening Device

The CEIA PD240CH is a dual-sensing, hand-held ferromagnetic detection system designed to ensure patient safety before MRI exams. With its non-magnetic construction, the PD240CH can be safely used inside the MRI room, helping clinicians detect hidden metallic objects that could cause burns or dangerous interactions during scans.

  • Large Search Area — Speeds up patient screening with broad coverage.
  • High-Precision Pinpointing — Dual-tone audio and dual-color visual indicators for accurate object location.
  • Three Modes of Operation — Select between ferrous-only, head/full-body ferrous, or all-metal detection.
  • Patient Safety First — Reduces the risk of RF burns from both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
  • Dual Sensing Technology — Independently screen for ferrous metallic items or all metal types.
  • User-Friendly Alerts — Audible, vibration, and visual-magnitude signals for flexible operation.
  • Customizable Settings — Adjustable sensitivity, interface, and energy-saving modes.
  • Sustainable Power — Embedded long-life rechargeable batteries eliminate the ongoing cost of disposables.
  • Dual Detection Advantage — This screener can distinguish between ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic metals, helping to ensure a safer and more accurate patient checks.
